Virgin Atlantic has advertised jobs for ‘Thomas Cook cabin crew only’ just hours after the company collapsed.
The holiday firm announced it had gone into liquidation in the early hours of last Monday, leaving holidaymakers stranded and staff facing uncertain futures .
Thousands of jobs, based in the UK, including cabin crew members, were lost.
However, they are now being approached by Virgin Atlantic, which has begun advertising roles specifically for Thomas Cook cabin crew, Wales Online reports .
A job post was advertised on Virgin’s site yesterday afternoon, which read: “We have a set up a specific recruitment path to support any Thomas Cook Cabin Crew after the sad announcement that the company has ceased operations.
