Alistair Lawson, from Leeds, is in the running to take part in international TV show This Is Your Life Change and is hoping to expand his business, Smacking Fish, as a result.
The programme aims to help six budding entrepreneurs prepare both mentally and physically for the challenges associated with setting up a new business.
The six people who are chosen will be flown to the Fijan Island of Voro Voro and given rigorous life, business and fitness coaching along with continued support after the show has ended.
Alistair’s business, Smacking Fish, offers motivational support and encouragement to help people from all walks of life achieve their life-long dreams and ambitions.
“Success goes hand in hand with your mind-set and your health, which is why this opportunity is so important to me.
“Going on this two-week trip might seem like a holiday, but I can guarantee it won’t be.
“Being selected to be part of the programme would not only change my own life but, help me to ensure that I’m in the best position possible to help other people change theirs.”
The two week programme, designed to help ensure the success of organisations which are beneficial to the community, will take place in March 2015.
