Athena networking launches second sales phase after surpassing target

Established in 2005, The Athena Network was founded to provide business women who were unable to commit to early breakfast networking meetings with opportunities to meet like-minded women from a wide range of industry sectors from large corporates to sole traders.
The network has now grown to 26 franchisees, 2600 networking members across 30 regions already throughout the UK with franchisees paying £9950 for regions of at least 5000 – 6000 SME’s.
Sylvia Baldock, National Sales Director for The Athena Network, says: “If you are a business-minded woman with a passion to make a huge difference to business women around you and you follow our proven process, with our franchise opportunity you can recoup your fairly low investment within six months and be profitable which is incredible! Many of our franchisees in fact earn a full-time income for part-time hours.
“What we are looking for are motivated, personable women who would like to meet and support business women and inspire them to greater success.”
Penny Stephens, Franchisee of the Oxfordshire branch says: “I had been a member of Athena for a year when I took on a franchise for myself.  I hadn’t been looking for another business but it was an opportunity I felt I couldn’t pass up.  Six months on it’s proving to be a successful and enjoyable business and the support and training I have received have been second to none.”
The Athena Network’s comprehensive training programme and support services are designed to help franchisees quickly become experts in this growth market.  Athena provides a part time, high income business model and the opportunity to develop a fulfilling business, with lucrative multiple streams of income.   Working from home organising local, lunchtime, networking groups for women that meet at a specific venue monthly, each franchisee is responsible for managing their own exclusive territory.
Since its launch in May already three licensees have signed up in Harpenden, North London and West London.
