Dragons’ Den success turns to the crowd to grow next magic idea

In 2008 Magic Whiteboard raised £100,000 from Dragons’ Den investors Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden. They export to 20 different countries with sales of over £4 million and now they are back with the never ending notebook.

Investors can contribute as little as £15 to bring this product to market and be part of a national campaign to launch the the reusable notebook to millions of customers, along with being some of the first to get their hands on one for themselves.

Neil Westwood Managing Director said: “The Magic Notebook ™ was inspired by the frustration of wasting paper when taking messages and notes and throwing away lots of sticky notes on a daily basis. Magic Notebook ™ combines a notebook and a whiteboard to create an erasable and reusable notebook great for writing notes, taking phone messages, generating ideas, playing games, doodling, for writing at school and for doing homework.

“6 years ago, funding options were limited, you could either go to the bank or go on Dragons’ Den to get funding. We were successful on Dragons’ Den and now the goal is to be successful using crowdfunding. We have now decided to get more people involved in our business using crowdfunding. It will help the business grow and allow us to diversify, expand and employ more people”.
