RADA Business, the commercial arm of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, has announced a spring series of courses in the North West, allowing business professionals across the region to access world-class communication skills and performance programmes.
Launched in 2019, RADA Business continues to establish its presence across the North Powerhouse and this new series will bring three of its most popular courses: Impact and Influence for Women, Presenting Made Brilliant and Personal Impact to Manchester.
RADA Business continues to work to support the region through strong initiatives; building relationships with business development organisation including pro-manchester, and sponsoring the leaders of tomorrow at the Made in Manchester Awards (MIMA) – they are now continuing to make an impact in the North West by offering more training and development to its business professionals.
The spring series of courses reaffirms its connection with the arts by taking place at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester’s international concert venue.
The courses, which are taking place between April and June, will focus on a range of themes. Designed for those beginning their career to seasoned professionals.
Impact and Influence for Women is a two-day course aimed at women at management level who want to progress to the next stage of their career. It focuses on empowering women with the skills and confidence to drive towards more senior positions. By examining the power of physicality, voice and language, it reflects on delegates’ existing management style and teaches tools and strategies which can be used to affect the attitude and behaviours of those around them.
Presenting Made Brilliant is a practical one-day course for those who want to become a credible and confident public speaker. This course encourages participants to take risks, push themselves and make an impact when communicating in highly pressured environments. It takes the focus away from what you present and instead focuses on how you present.
Personal Impact is a one-day course that teaches delegates, at all stages of their career, to perform with more clarity and impact through the foundations of communication – body, breath and voice. By the end of the day, participants will have greater self-awareness of how they come across to others and will be able to communicate with clients and colleagues more effectively.
