With UK craft beer sales reaching £225m and sector growth of 79 per cent in 12 months, the company has found a novel way to jump on the rising but costly trend making it accessible to the masses.
Based out of a bespoke property in Bermondsey, south London, UBREW plans to launch imminently and will allow members to join and create their own craft beers – with full access to a range of professional brewery equipment – in a community of like-minded beer lovers.
The start-up has already achieved £12,000 in pre sales prior to its launch and it says the funding will be used to buy better equipment and improve the premises.
