Laundrapp expands into five UK cities

Launched earlier this month in London, Laundrapp enables customers to outsource laundry and dry cleaning via its app and on-demand door-to-door collection and delivery service.

“We’re thrilled to be unveiling the expansion of Laundrapp so soon after the initial successful London launch. We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response in London and we’re pleased to be able to bring the Laundrapp experience to five UK cities, said Ed Relf, Co-founder & CEO. “Laundrapp is the future of digital on-demand Laundry, we’re redefining an entire industry ripe for disruptive technology and innovation!”

The city roll out makes Laundrapp the first company in the UK to expand this type of on-demand service nationally.

Available on iPhone, iPad & Android devices, Laundrapp vows to take the woe out of washing by delivering a fresh service direct to customers’ doors. The company was founded by London-based entrepreneurs with unrivalled expertise in the digital and professional sectors. Digital marketing guru, Ed Relf, is Laundrapp’s Co-founder & CEO having previously been CMO / CCO of Mind Candy, the company behind Moshi Monsters. COO Antony Pink, previously a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, and CTO Nick Bransby-Williams, previously CTO at Sooqini, complete the executive founding team.

Laundrapp is backed by £1.5million of seed funding led by Rupert Hambro (former Chairman of Hambros Bank and Founding Partner of Hambro Perks) and serial entrepreneur Dominic Perks who had the initial brainwave for the business. After months of planning, trials and ensuring customers will only receive the best service, Laundrapp has invested a six-figure sum in marketing across TV, the London Underground, radio and outdoor advertising.
