Three entrepreneurs conquer ‘The Pitch’ for slice of £1m funding & mentoring

The Pitch is designed to find and cultivate entrepreneurs whose business ideas show great potential but need nurturing. The scheme is run by Elixirr, a digital disruption and business transformation consultancy that brings the spirit of the startup to big businesses.

The pilot was launched earlier this year and was open to entries from Elixirr’s team and networks. A shortlist of entrepreneurs then presented their business plan to a panel of expert judges, led by Stephen Newton, the Founder and Managing Partner of Elixirr.

The winners sharing the prize areL Thomas Taylor-Benson of Prize Brokers, which helps marketers negotiate prizes and partnerships; Herbert van der Raad of services app Total Concierge and William Basnett of Time to Donate, a platform designed to make it easier for people to donate their professional time to help charities.

Newton comments: “The Pitch represents our commitment – both in time and money – to supporting driven and talented business people with brilliant ideas. I have faced the same challenges that many young businesses struggle with and I am passionate about helping them to grow and succeed.”

Call for Budding Entrepreneurs
The second round of The Pitch is now under way and the hunt for new entrants has begun. Following the success of the pilot, Elixirr is opening up The Pitch to budding entrepreneurs from all over the world with big ideas.

If your new venture could benefit from a share of the £1million investment fund and mentoring from senior partners then start penning your business plan! The deadline for entries is midnight, 23 September and The Pitch takes place on 27 October. For details on how to apply, visit: elixirr.com/content/pitch
