Ade Onilude is the first appointment to the Careering into Motherhood Advisory Board.

Onilude will be instrumental in rapidly scaling Careering into Motherhood and its purpose of making career coaching more accessible to more women and helping women to have successful careers beyond maternity leave, on their terms.

Onilude brings her experience as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the social enterprise, Women in Marketing (WIM), a community interest company which she established to educate, inspire, connect, recognise, and empower female marketers. Ade has received multiple international awards and been recognised for her contribution to the global economic empowerment of women.

“Onilude is passionate about challenging gender norms, and with her experience of launching and growing her hugely successful community interest company, she will bring all of that to support our growth,” said Jane Johnson, Founder of Careering into Motherhood. “It is a real honour to have Ade join our Advisory Board. Her experience will be invaluable as we launch our corporate partnerships to help companies retain and attract female talent by offering bespoke coaching and professional development programmes for women.”

Careering into Motherhood began as a Facebook group where mums could ask for help and advice. As the same challenges came up time and again Jane built a partnership of career coaches.  The online platform launched at the start of the year and is already the largest curated library of professional career advice for women with children.

Onilude said, “Jane and I share the belief that gender stereotypes in the workplace need challenging. We are both driven by a passion to help women reach their full potential, and I have spent many years championing a woman’s right to the careers they want.  I was delighted to accept when Jane invited me to join the Board, I know I can add a lot of value to help Careering into Motherhood scale and grow sustainably.”
