OFF3R receives nearly £500,000 from New Look founder & “super angels”

Mobile crowdfunding aggregator OFF3R, previously known as Tendr, has closed a £480,000 investment round backed by New Look founder Tom Singh, and serial investor Daniel McPherson.

Launched in June last year by Lex Deak the London-based OFF3R is an app which aggregates crowdfunded deals and utilises a Tinder-style interface to improve access to investment opportunties.

The start-up claims to have had over 500,000 interactions with two million deal alerts sent to investors in 75 countries.

It plans to use the investment to “support major expansion” with updates to its mobile product, webinterface, and a free data portal for its user community.

Deak commented: “We are very excited as this investment will help us establish OFF3R as a leading player in the alternative finance market, providing a world-class user experience across mobile and web platforms.

“We want to make it an even more powerful and useable tool, helping the investor community to discover and invest in companies from a broad range of sources.”
