Stephen Fry Wins Star Employee Poll

Nearly half of those polled (45 per cent) by the online business social networking website BT Tradespace, in the fun survey, said they would most want to employ Fry, whilst entrepreneur Sir Alan Sugar was runner-up, with nearly one in four votes (23 per cent). Singer Cheryl Cole finished third in the poll by the online business social networking website.

Lewis Hamilton finished joint fourth with X-Factor guru Simon Cowell, picked by some for his brutal honesty.

Fry, 51, shot to fame in 1980s’ comedy series Blackadder, and more recently as the host of quiz show QI. He is also a talented actor and writer and now one of the leading exponents of the micro blogging website Twitter.

Mick Hegarty, head of the 300,000 member BT Tradespace site, said: “Stephen is a highly knowledgeable and likeable individual. His wit and wisdom would make him an asset to any business.”
