What do you currently do?
I have been the Director of BtoB activity in Pixmania Group as well as manager of Pixmania-Pro for the past 2 years.
What is your inspiration in business?
The customer is central to our inspiration. Everything we do revolves around meeting the needs of our customers. Secondly, I find great satisfaction working with my team. At a time when people are talking a lot about technology or automation, the value of professional relationships, when meeting challenges, is much greater.
Who do you admire?
I have great admiration for my grandfather. He had a difficult but also fascinating life. He fought in the French resistance and after joined the Foreign Legion and travelled extensively.
He’s someone who always impressed me a great deal. We become close towards the end of his life, and he was the first person in the family who believed in me. I think he’s my guardian angel.
Looking back, are there things you would have done differently?
Not really. I don’t have any regrets. I believe we should take responsibility for our mistakes and try to learn from them.
What defines your way of doing business?
I would characterise my business style as “French Flair” : Intuitive with sudden flashes of inspiration… But always with the customer’s needs in mind.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
I would tell someone just starting out to focus on creativity and communication. For the first, it’s important to always be looking for new and better ways of doing things, regarding the second, innovation isn’t much good if you neglect communication.
And finally, of course, never give up !
