What is the inspiration behind your business? To produce world class single malt whisky in Wales and help create a new and premium Welsh spirits industry.
What defines your way of doing business? Business is about making long term associations that add value for you and your business partners. We work tirelessly and with passion to produce premium brands that are authentic and interesting for our customers. People experience our brands through our passion and our story.
Who do you admire? Singer Songwriters like Richard Thompson, Green Gartside, Paddy McAloon and Elvis Costello. I love songs with lots of words.
What would you tell your younger self?
Don’t be so bloody impatient!
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your career? Do what you do. Have a passion for the detail and always follow up. Take your own path in business and don’t follow the crowd.
How do you continue to grow professionally? By broadening my experience with new and interesting projects both inside and outside the drinks industry. I enjoy working with small brands and new businesses.
What are you working on now? Gatastic! A tribute to legendary Welsh rugby coach Warren Gatland as we approach the rugby world cup.
