What is your inspiration in business?
When I set up the company in 2006 I saw it as a personal challenge. I wanted to see what I could achieve. As the business grows it is important that I rise to emerging challenges and make the most of every opportunity.
I’ve been inspired by working with large global clients like CSC (Corporation Service Company), the world leader in digital brand services, who are always moving forward and improving their offering, whilst keeping customer service at the forefront of the services they provide.
Who do you admire?
There isn’t one person that I admire more than any other in business. I have real admiration for anybody who has the courage to set up their own business. It’s not easy and there are many challenges along the way which mean you have to be adaptable, make sacrifices and sometimes deal with dissapointment BUT there is nothing more rewarding then creating something from scratch, watching it take shape and getting results… a bit like Graphic Design really!
Looking back would you have done things differently?
When I first started out in business I felt the pressure to act a certain way and do certain things – the way I thought it was done. Over the years, I came to realise that, especially in my line of work, I didn’t have to wear a suit, I could rock up to the studio in a pair of converse pumps and jeans and be just as productive. Just being myself allowed me to build relationships more easily, take everything in my stride and really enjoy what I was doing.
