F1 Authentics - owned by Memento Exclusives, the UK-based sports memorabilia specialist - and Oracle Red Bull Racing have raised a total of £108,497 for Wings for Life in an exclusive auction. The auction, held on the memorabilia platform, included the race suit that two-time Formula One World Champion, Max Verstappen, wore for the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix - the suit in which he scored his 41st win, tying with Ayrton Senna, and claimed Oracle Red Bull Racing’s 100th victory. The auction also included an exclusive Meet & Greet with Verstappen and a tour of the Oracle Red Bull Racing factory in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. This exciting auction has helped raise money for Oracle Red Bull Racing’s official charity partner, Wings for Life. Founded in 2004, Wings for Life funds global research projects and clinical trials with one sole aim: to find a cure for spinal cord injury. This auction will be donating 100% of the money raised to Wings for Life*. Christian Horner OBE, Team Principal and CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing said:  “It’s amazing to see Max’s race suit auction raise over £100,000 for our Team Charity, Wings for Life, as part of our continued fundraising initiatives. It’s a special suit from our 100th race win and the winning bidder has a true piece of history. I would like to thank Memento Exclusives for working closely with us and Wings for Life to ensure we raised the maximum amount possible, which will go directly to fund spinal cord injury research.” Emma Hind, UK CEO Wings for Life added her comments about the auction result: “We are absolutely delighted to find out that a total of £108,497 was raised through Max’s race suit auction! We can’t thank both Oracle Red Bull Racing and Memento Exclusives enough in helping us reach this fantastic total! The incredible amount of money raised will help fund pioneering research projects in helping us to find a cure for spinal cord injury.” Concluding, Barry Gough, Founder and CEO of Memento Exclusives and F1 Authentics, said: “We are delighted to have raised £108,497 for Wings for Life in this exciting auction. Not only does the auction winner get to own a real piece of Formula 1 history but they’ll get to meet the reigning Champion, in an exclusive meeting not offered to anyone else! We are proud to have helped raise money for Wings for Life, with the proceeds helping to fund the paramount work that the charity does.”
